AGENDA 2030 IS GENTLE REV'S VERSION OF SHAREHOLDERS' VALUE
Make a difference. Ditch the outdated maxim of shareholders' value and join us in working for and building a business around the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Below are the four main ones that Gentle Rev is focusing on.
GOAL 3: GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
If you want to do a good job, you need to feel well. Doing yoga, hugging friends, eating mostly vegan and organic food and taking time to be in the nature are some examples of things that increase well-being. Good health is a priority and we want everybody who works with us to feel good, physically, mentally and emotionally.
GOAL 5: GENDER EQUALITY
Gender equality is a key aspect of bringing about a gentle revolution. Bringing more women to the decision-table is crucial. And the way we do business and run companies is changing as more women are empowered to do it their own way instead of adapting to old structures and ideas. Gender equality will lead to a new and more inclusive design of society.
That's why Viveca is also a Board Member of UN Women Sweden.
GOAL 8: DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
We urgently need to rethink the purpose of companies. That is one of the reasons Gentle Rev was founded. Profits alone cannot be the purpose of businesses; we have already seen the detrimental effects of the current capitalist model. Our goal is to work differently and sustainably, embracing values and letting our actions be grounded in yoga philosophy.
GOAL 9: INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
We embrace failure, empathy, openness, diversity and playfulness. Combining yoga, innovation and law is a way for us to bridge spirituality and humanness with the business world - as a necessary and gentle revolution. Viveca's experiences of design thinking at Stanford University's d.school had a deep impact on the foundation and shape of Gentle Rev.
