WHO ARE WE AND HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US?
This website is run by my company Viveca Fallenius AB (company registration number 559215-2663). Let's call it Gentle Rev. Gentle Rev offers advice, workshops, presentations, yoga classes, courses, events and more.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA ARE WE COLLECTING?
Personal data is really just another word for personal information. It's the kind of legal jargon that creates a distance between lawyers and normal people ;-) We collect personal information like name, email address and phone number. We collect it if you have contacted us, signed up for an event or workshop or bought other services from us. If you have left a feedback note to us with your name, we might keep it.
We also use software tools to measure and collect information about how people find the website, from what city and how long they stay on the site.
We use google analytics to analyse how well our ads on Google work. Why? To be able to find people who might be interested in what we do.
If you have worked for us, we have collected all the information necessary to pay your salary, that is, name, address, bank account number and ID number.
HOW ARE WE USING PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the data to
- provide the service you requested
- communicate with you by email or phone
- to market our services, for example by sending emails about events etc.
If you work for us, we also use data to:
- pay salaries
Plus, we are using some external service providers that are hosting the website and taking care of the accounting and financial parts of the business. You may want to check out the privacy policies of Wix, Bolageriet and SEB.
FOR HOW LONG ARE WE KEEPING PERSONAL DATA?
We keep personal data for 5 years max.
If you ask us to delete it, we will.
HOW DO WE KEEP DATA SAFE?
We take necessary measures when it comes to technical and organisational security to keep personal data secure. Only people who need to access your data will be able to.
The website is hosted on a the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
Because we (and the law) want your data to be correct and in your control, you have some rights.
You have the right to access your data, correct it, object to our use of it and/or have it deleted. If you wish, simply send an email to privacy @ gentlerev.com and let us know what you want.
Of course, sometimes we are actually obliged to keep your data, for accounting or employment reasons for example.
You also have the right to file a complaint to the data protection authority (see a list of them here). Perhaps over a plant-based cappuccino? :-)
